How I Can Help

As a qualified garden designer and my former background in real-time computer graphics systems, I can help you develop your PC and Vectorworks CAD skills using methods that suit the requirements of a Garden Designer.

I offer tuition in a number of areas on a flexible informal basis to suit your needs. By working on real world scenarios, at your own location, you can learn and work at the same time. We can work at a speed that you feel most comfortable with and you can ask all the questions that you like, no matter how basic they may seem.

Spending time as a student allowed me to experiment and develop cost effective workflows and techniques that allow the computer to work best for me allowing computer generated plans to take on new life and retain much of the hand drawn look, in fact, some of it may even have been hand drawn!

I often receive correspondence from other users asking how I produced various looks to my designs. Now that I have worked out how to achieve them, let me show you how to make the computer work for you and combine the best of your skills with those that the computer does best. Not all computer generated plans need to look the same.

I am delighted that some of my work has been featured in the latest Nemetschek printed sales literature for VectorWorks 2009 Landmark and Designer.

classroom based Training

If you wish to follow a more formal structure I also offer training courses provided by Training Unlimited. Training Unlimited courses, based in London NW9, are very cost effective as they take place in a classroom environment with up to 10 fellow students. The tiered structure allows you to receive training at a level to suit you.
